Balance All Around – The Traditional Chinese Medicine Approach (E)
The Red Door Yoga Studio - 7282 Aulds Road, Lantzville, BC. V0R 2H0
In this lecture, Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and educator, Dr. Kim Graham, will teach attendees how to find balance in everyday life by using the principles and teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Deeply rooted in Daoist thinking, TCM uses the rules taken from the natural world and applies them to the human body. Learn how you interact with your environment, how the emotions, foods and colours you choose affect you and how you may already instinctively be trying to create internal balance.
By incorporating these ancient yet simplistic teachings into everyday life, you will be more able to recognize and apply these lessons, and see that balance is reflected all around and within us.
This is one of a set of three "Conversations in Healing" Lectures. It may be taken on its own, or as part of the "Conversations in Healing" package. The lecture will begin at 6:30pm and run until 8:30pm. There is an early-bird deadline for this workshop of June 22nd ($21 + HST). After June 22nd however, the regular fee of $25 + HST will apply.
