Kripalu Yoga – Meditation in Motion (W)
The Red Door Yoga Studio - 7282 Aulds Road, Lantzville, BC. V0R 2H0
Kripalu Yoga is a practice of self-awareness, self-empowerment, and personal growth. This yogic tradition allows the practitioner to access their spirit through the vehicle of the physical body, becoming aware of the interactions of physical, mental, and emotional experience. Through the conscious awareness that arises in this practice, the practitioner releases blockages to their natural essence; energy is freed, and healing occurs on all levels of being.
In this workshop, "Kripalu Yoga – Meditation in Motion", Nancy Moelaert will lead us in an exploration of the philosophical and practical fundamentals of Kripalu Yoga inviting the participant into a personal experience of meditation in motion. This is an experience that will resonate well beyond the mat.
Nancy Moelaert had led a very active lifestyle in competitive sports, which in turn led to years of coping with injuries and chronic pain. Seeking a physical activity that healed and nurtured her, she discovered yoga in 1995. Through her yoga practice, Nancy's pain diminished, while her strength and flexibility increased. In 2007 Nancy became a Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor and Holistic Health Councillor. Through her training she was awakened to the true aim of yoga: increased self-awareness of our physical, energetic, emotional and spiritual bodies. This transformation was so profound that it became the basis of the style of Yoga Nancy teaches today.
Nancy’s style of Kripalu Yoga invites a deep inner exploration. Each class is a unique experience and adjusted to the vibrations of the participants. Her joy of teaching resonates through the room and her attention to detail is shared with compassion. Her continuous invitations to breathe and feel more deeply, opens practitioners' awareness and encourages them to find their own bliss and inner peace. To learn more about Nancy see here.
The workshop will begin at 1pm and run until 5:00pm. There is an early-bird deadline for this workshop of April 6th ($65 + HST). After April 6th however, the regular fee of $75 + HST will apply.
